The film City Dreamers aims at highlighting the recent history of architecture and urban planning. However, and more importantly, it also presents the subjective, “choral” story of several women whose careers intersect as well as resemble and complement each other.
The documentary is inspired by Denise Scott Brown, Phyllis Lambert, Cornelia Hahn Oberlander, and Blanche Lemco van Ginkel, four extraordinary characters, who have never stopped caring about, reflecting upon and taking actions on the future of their city. They should be an inspiration to us all.
City Dreamers has been presented at the Montreal International Documentary Festival 2018 and will have its theatrical release in Spring 2019. Catch a glimpse here.
